Simple Fudgy Saucepan Brownies

Ingredients

2 cup2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1 cup sugar

4 cup all-purpose flourFrosting
4 cup3 tablespoons milk
1 (1-ounce) square unsweetened baking chocolate

2 cups powdered sugar1
2 teaspoon vanilla extractHow to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom of 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.

Combine 1/2 cup butter and 2 squares chocolate in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3-5 minutes or until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in all remaining brownie ingredients until well mixed.

Spread into prepared pan. Bake 23-27 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.

Combine 1/4 cup butter, milk and 1 square chocolate in same saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 2-3 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar; beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Spread over warm brownies. Cool completely; cut into squares.
