Backyard Oktoberfest

Ein Prosit! It is Oktoberfest season! Even if you can’t make the trip to Munich, you can still enjoy the flavors and fun of this time-honored tradition. These recipes pair great with your favorite ale – so crank up the volume on that “Beer Barrel Polka” and enjoy some of our favorite Oktoberfest Recipes!

Our Harvest Beer Cheese Soup (pictured above) is sure to warm you up before you venture out to the polka tent. Plus, it is made with BEER (we’d recommend a brown ale) and CHEESE…enough said.  Make it. Enjoy it.

The Beer Cheese Pretzel Dog is great for the Oktoberfest-er on the go. You can carry your hot dog in one hand and your beverage of choice in the other while you polka-shuffle through the crowd.
 

The Cheese-Stuffed Pretzel Buns will cover your need for snacks/quick bites for when you and your guests need to replenish energy after a few rounds of mandatory Oktoberfest singing and swaying.

Finally, as the celebration comes to a close, treat yourselves to a decadent German Chocolate Cake and a few long hugs.
