It is cold out there people. So, what do you do to shake off the winter chill? I can think of a few good ways to warm up during the winter season, but my favorite would have to be with an amazing meal with my family. Honestly, is there anything more comforting than a warm kitchen teeming with the mouthwatering aromas of baked chicken, lasagna, or your favorite meatloaf?
We in the test kitchens wanted to share with you some go-to comfort classics like our Five Cheese Veggie Lasagna with layers of fresh veggies, savory sauce and melty Deli American.
Or our Classic Meatloaf, with a sweet and tangy glaze it is a family favorite in my house!
If you are looking for a meal, or a collection of recipe ideas that are beyond the basics you should try making something from our Sheet Pan Dinner and Dessert Recipes.
We developed these recipes with flavor, time and clean-up in mind. Many of these recipes take an hour or less and will cover you from dinner to dessert. An added bonus? Everything is baked on the same sheet pan so dishes are practically done!
Another collection we highly recommend during these winter months is our Oven Baked Chicken Recipes. From scrumptious classics like our Southwest Roasted Chicken (with only 6 ingredients it is a breeze to prep) to the sweet and savory family favorite Honey Cornbread Chicken, the recipes in this collection are a “must try.”
Finally, for recipes that will stick to your ribs, look to our collection of Comforting Casseroles.
The Chicken & Rice Casserole, with its buttery cracker topping, is quick to prep and even quicker to disappear.
So, warm yourself up however you want this winter. But, since you inevitably have to eat something, you might as well make it something amazing that will keep that winter chill outside and your house and belly warm on the inside!
