Taco-Style Smash Burgers

Ingredients
Secret Sauce

4 cup mayonnaise1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon dill relish
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon ketchup
1
2 teaspoon garlic powder1
2 teaspoon onion powder1
2 teaspoon paprikaBurger
1 pound ground beef (not less than 80% lean)
4 (2 tablespoons) Land O Lakes® Butter Balls
1
4 teaspoon salt, or to taste1
4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste4 (6-inch) flour tortillas
4 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Yellow Deli American

Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
How to make

STEP 1
Combine all sauce ingredients in small bowl until blended. Cover; refrigerate until ready to use.

Form 4 ounces ground beef into ball. Using thumb, make 1/2-inch indent into center of patty; place 1 Butter Ball into center. Repeat with remaining beef and Butter Balls. Sprinkle butter side with salt and pepper.
Tip: Forming Patties

STEP 3
Heat flat top grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place patties butter-side down onto hot surface. Cook 30 seconds or until butter starts to melt. Using burger press or spatula, smash tortilla down on top of burger until it is as flat as possible. Cook 3-4 minutes or until ground beef is cooked through.

STEP 4
Flip burgers over. Add 1 slice cheese to each burger; cover. Cook 30 seconds or until cheese is melted and internal temperature of burger reaches 165°F.

Top burgers evenly with lettuce, tomato slices and sauce. Fold in half to eat.
