Holiday Brie and Butter Spread

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) round Brie cheese

1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

1/4 cup dried cranberries

2 tablespoons walnuts, finely chopped

Honey, as desired

Fresh thyme and/or rosemary, if desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    While Brie cheese is still cold, use cheese knife or paring knife to remove rind. Cut into 1-inch cubes; set aside to warm to room temperature.

  2. STEP 2

    Cut butter into 1-inch slices. Add to food processor along with cubed cheese. Process until completely smooth, scraping down side of bowl as needed.

  3. STEP 3

    Spoon and spread butter mixture onto serving plate. Top evenly with dried cranberries, walnuts and drizzle of honey. Garnish with fresh herbs as desired. Serve immediately with crackers or crostini.

  4. STEP 4

    Cover any leftovers tightly with plastic wrap; refrigerate up to 5 days. Bring to room temperature before serving.

This spread is best served at room temperature.
