Korean Egg Rice Bowl (Gyeran Bop)
Combining soy and melted butter gives this egg-topped rice bowl that cravable "umami" flavor.

Ingredients
1 1
2 cups cooked white rice3 (1 1 Land O Lakes® Butter Balls, divided
2 tablespoons)1 tablespoon chopped green onion
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Salt, as desired
Pepper, as desired
Hot pepper sauce, sesame seeds and/or furikake seasoning, as desired for serving
How to make

STEP 1
Place cooked rice into individual microwave-safe serving bowl. Microwave 1-2 minutes or until hot. Stir in 2 Butter Balls, green onion, sesame oil and soy sauce until butter is melted and ingredients are combined.

STEP 2
Meanwhile, heat small skillet over medium heat. Add remaining Butter Ball. Crack egg into pan; season with salt and pepper. Fry until over-easy or desired doneness.

Top rice with egg; serve immediately, garnished with hot sauce, sesame seeds and/or furikake seasoning.

Using leftover rice makes this quick to fix, but you can also heat a bag of microwave-ready rice just as quickly!
