Halloween Candy Cookie Skillet

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1
2 teaspoon baking powder1
2 teaspoon baking soda3 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
4 cup1
2 cup firmly packed brown sugar1
2 cup granulated sugar1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups (about 12 ounces) chopped candy
Ice cream, if desired
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 325°F.

Combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda in bowl; set aside.

Combine butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in another bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add egg and vanilla. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Reduce speed to low. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until well mixed. Stir in chopped candy. Press dough evenly into ungreased ovensafe 10-inch skillet.

Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown around edge. Cool at least 30 minutes before serving. Cut into wedges; serve from skillet. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
Tip #1
A cast iron skillet is perfect for this recipe. Be sure your skillet is at least two inches deep.
Tip #2
Take care not to overbake your cookie as it will continue baking after it comes out of the oven.
