Ingredients

1 1/4 cups (150 grams) all-purpose flour

3 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Place flour into microwave-safe bowl; microwave on High 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds, until thermometer inserted in center reads 165°F. Cool completely.

  2. STEP 2

    Meanwhile, combine butter, sugars, vanilla and salt in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Stir in cooled flour until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips. Store any leftovers tightly covered in refrigerator.

Tip #1

To temp flour in the oven, heat oven to 350°F. Spread flour on parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 5-7 minutes or until flour is 165°F according to instant read thermometer. Immediately pour flour into bowl after removing from oven.
