Air Fryer Pizza Calzones

Ingredients
1 (16-ounce) ball refrigerated pizza dough
1
2 cup cooked crumbled Italian sausage, cooled6 ounces (1 1 Land O Lakes® Mozzarella Farmstyle Cut Shredded Cheese
2 cups)2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt, melted
Dried oregano, as desired
Marinara sauce, heated, for dipping
How to make

STEP 1
Heat air fryer to 375°F.

STEP 2
Divide dough evenly into 8 balls; stretch each into 5-inch round. Top half of each round with 1 tablespoon sausage and 3/4 ounce (scant 1/4 cup) cheese leaving about 1/2-inch border. Fold untopped side over toppings, lining up edges of dough. Press or crimp edges. Repeat with remaining dough.

STEP 3
Brush tops lightly with some of melted Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt. Place as many calzones as fit in single layer into parchment-lined air fryer basket. Cook 5 minutes; turn calzones over. Cook 4-6 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately brush tops lightly with remaining melted butter; sprinkle lightly with dried oregano. Repeat with remaining calzones.

STEP 4
Serve warm with marinara dipping sauce.
Tip #1
Air fryer sizes vary, so you may need to cook just a few at a time. Keep warm in a 200°F oven while waiting for all the calzones to finish cooking.
Tip #2
Frozen dinner rolls work perfectly too—just use two thawed rolls per calzone and proceed with the recipe as directed.
