Ingredients
16 ounces uncooked dried linguine
1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter, divided
1
3 cup finely chopped fresh garlic1
2 teaspoon kosher salt1
4 teaspoon pepper1
4 cup gochujang sauce1
4 cup honey1
4 cup rice wine vinegar
Scallions, for garnish
Lime wedges, for squeezing
How to make
-
STEP 1
Bring large pot of salted water to a boil. Add linguine; cook according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup cooking water before draining.
-
STEP 2
Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons butter in 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, 1-2 minutes or until garlic is fragrant and begins to change from opaque to translucent. Stir in gochujang sauce, honey and vinegar; bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring constantly, 3-4 minutes or until mixture is reduced and thickened. Remove from heat; add drained pasta to skillet.
-
STEP 3
Add remaining butter to skillet; stir vigorously until butter melts. Add reserved pasta water as needed, a few tablespoons at a time until sauce is desired consistency. Top with scallions and lime juice; serve immediately.
Tip #1
Gochujang paste can be used in place of sauce; you may need a bit more pasta water for desired consistency.
Tip #2
Not sure how much garlic to buy? One large head of garlic yields about 1/3 cup finely chopped.
