Get started!

Ingredients

8 ounces lean ground beef (not less than 80% lean)

1 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning mix, divided

1 (16-ounce) ball refrigerated pizza dough

1/2 cup thick-and-chunky salsa

2 tablespoons chopped drained pickled jalapeño chile peppers, if desired

1 (8-ounce) bag (2 cups) Land O Lakes® Mexican Blend Farmstyle Cut Shredded Cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced seeded tomato

1/4 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon milk

Crushed tortilla chips, for topping as desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

Heat oven to 500°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. STEP 2

Cook beef and 1 tablespoon taco seasoning in medium skillet over high heat, breaking beef up into crumbles, 5 minutes or until beef is browned. Set aside to cool.

  3. STEP 3

Meanwhile, shape dough into 13-inch circle on prepared baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes; remove from oven. Spread evenly with salsa, leaving 1/2-inch border around edge. Top evenly with cooled beef, jalapeños if desired and cheese.

  4. STEP 4

Bake 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is deep golden brown. Remove from oven; sprinkle evenly with lettuce and tomato.

  5. STEP 5

Whisk together sour cream, milk and remaining 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning in small bowl; drizzle evenly over pizza. Sprinkle with crushed tortilla chips as desired. Serve hot.

Tip #1

Try mixing your seasoned sour cream topping in a plastic resealable sandwich bag. Snip off the corner to drizzle over the finished pizza.

Tip #2

Have extra carnitas, pulled pork or steak? Switch out the taco-seasoned beef for what you have on hand.
