Cheesy Shortcut Lasagna

Ingredients
1 pound mild or hot Italian sausage
2 (24-ounce) jars (6 cups) marinara sauce
1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
2 ounces (1 Land O Lakes® Aged Italian Blend Fine Cut Shredded Cheese, divided
2 cup)1 large Land O Lakes® Egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 teaspoon garlic powder15 sheets no-boil lasagna noodles
2 (8-ounce) bags (4 cups) Land O Lakes® Mozzarella Farmstyle Cut Shredded Cheese, divided
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 13x9-inch baking dish; set aside.

Cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat, stirring, 7 minutes or until browned and crumbled. Remove from heat; drain excess oil. Add marinara sauce to pan, then refill half of jar with water (1 1/2 cups). Pour water into skillet; stir to combine.

Stir together ricotta cheese, 1/4 cup Aged Italian cheese, egg, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in bowl.

Spread 1 cup meat sauce to cover bottom of prepared baking dish. Place 3 sheets uncooked noodles over sauce (they will expand while baking). Pour and spread 1 cup meat sauce to cover. Dollop 1/2 cup ricotta cheese mixture over meat sauce, spreading as best you can with back of spoon or spatula. Top evenly with 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Repeat layering three more times.

STEP 5
Top with remaining 3 sheets noodles and meat sauce. Cover with parchment paper, then aluminum foil. Wrap tightly. Bake 35 minutes.

Remove lasagna from oven. Uncover; top with remaining mozzarella and Aged Italian cheeses. Return to oven; bake 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
