Ingredients

1 tablespoon Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil

2 (8-inch) flour tortillas

6 ounces (1 1/2 cups) Land O Lakes® Mexican Blend Farmstyle Cut Shredded Cheese

3/4 cup shredded cooked chicken

2 tablespoons diced tomato

2 tablespoons sliced green onions

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Spread 1/2 tablespoon Butter with Canola Oil on one side of each tortilla. Place 1 tortilla butter-side down into 12-inch skillet.

  2. STEP 2

    Top tortilla in pan with half of shredded cheese, chicken, tomato and green onions; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover with remaining tortilla, butter-side up.

  3. STEP 3

    Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook 5-6 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Turn quesadilla over. Cover pan; continue cooking 3-4 minutes or until bottom of tortilla is golden and cheese is melted.

  4. STEP 4

    Cut quesadilla into quarters. Serve with desired toppings.

Tip #1

Cooking with a lid on helps melt the cheese before the tortilla is too brown.
