Buffalo Chicken Burger

Ingredients

2 ribs (1 cup) celery, cut into thin diagonal slices

2 cup carrot ribbonsBurgers
1 pound ground chicken
1
3 cup blue cheese crumbles2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
8 (3/4-ounce) slices white Land O Lakes® White Deli American
4 hamburger buns, split
Hot pepper sauce, if desired
How to make

STEP 1
Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.

STEP 2
Combine celery and carrot ribbons in bowl; set aside.

STEP 3
Combine chicken, blue cheese and 2 tablespoons hot sauce in bowl; mix well. Form mixture into 4 patties.

STEP 4
Place burgers onto grill. Grill 10-14 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F and burgers are cooked through. Top each burger with 2 slices cheese.

STEP 5
Place burgers onto bottom half of buns; top each with one-fourth of topping mixture and additional hot sauce, if desired.
Tip #1
To create carrot ribbons, trim ends and peel carrot. Use vegetable peeler to make long flat slices.
