Perfect Long Grain Rice

Ingredients

1 cup long grain white rice

2 cups water

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Place rice and water into 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat until water comes to a boil.

  2. STEP 2

    Reduce heat to low. Cover; continue cooking for 12-15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Fluff with fork before serving.

Tip #1

For firmer rice, use less water and a shorter cooking time. For softer rice, use more water and a longer cooking time.
