Peanut Butter Cookie Brownies

Ingredients
Peanut Butter Cookie Layer
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 cup1
2 cup peanut butter1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour1
2 teaspoon baking powder1
2 teaspoon baking soda1

4 cup water1 (11- to 12-ounce) package (2 cups) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

2 cups all-purpose flour1
2 teaspoon baking soda1

STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

Combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter and peanut butter in bowl. Beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 tesapoon salt. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Press dough into prepared pan. Set aside.

Combine sugar, 2/3 cup butter and water in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Stir until chocolate is melted. Let cool 5 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, whisking after each until combined. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt; stir until just combined. Pour batter over peanut butter cookie layer. Bake 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
