Apple Pear Pandowdy

Ingredients
Fruit Mixture
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 cup2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1
4 teaspoon ground cinnamon2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 to 4 medium (2 cups) apples, peeled, cored, sliced 1/8-inch
2 to 3 medium (2 cups) pears, peeled, cored, sliced 1/8-inch
Biscuits

2 cups pancake and baking mix1
2 cup milk1 tablespoon sugar
1
4 teaspoon ground cinnamonTopping

How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 400°F.

STEP 2
Combine all fruit mixture ingredients except apples and pears in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Add apples and pears; toss to coat.

Spoon into ungreased 2-quart baking dish. Cover; bake 25-35 minutes or until fruit is crisply tender.

Combine baking mix and milk in bowl; stir just until moistened. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot fruit mixture to make 9 biscuits.

Combine sugar and cinnamon in bowl. Sprinkle sugar mixture over biscuits. Return to oven, uncovered; continue baking 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are lightly browned.

Serve warm whipped cream.
