Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoon baking soda1
4 teaspoon salt3
4 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats1 cup mini candy-coated milk chocolate pieces

2 cup firmly packed brown sugar1
2 cup sugar1
2 cup salted peanuts1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 cup2 teaspoons vanilla
How to make

STEP 1
Layer flour, baking soda, salt, oats, candy pieces, brown sugar, sugar and peanuts in a 1-quart glass jar with airtight seal. Cover; decorate jar as desired.

Include the following instructions with the jar:
Heat oven to 350°F. Combine butter, egg and vanilla in bowl. Beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add dry ingredients from jar. Stir until well mixed. Shape dough into 1-inch balls or drop by level tablespoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack.

Use within one month to avoid hardening of brown sugar.
