Firecracker Fudge Cookies

Ingredients
1 (12-ounce) package (2 cups) real semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 cups all-purpose flour1 1
2 teaspoons baking powder1
4 teaspoon salt1 cup sugar
6 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

2 teaspoons vanilla1

STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F.

Microwave 1 cup chocolate chips in medium microwave-safe bowl 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10-20 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Cool completely.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat sugar, butter and vanilla in large bowl. Beat in melted chocolate. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour mixture. Beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in remaining chips. Cover; refrigerate just until firm.

Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls; roll in powdered sugar. Place onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake 10-15 minutes or until sides are set but centers are still slightly soft. Let stand 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets.
