Flaky Rosemary Biscuits with Peach Butter

Ingredients
Biscuits
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoon cream of tartar1
4 teaspoon salt1 Land O Lakes® Butter, cut into pieces

3 cup milk1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Peach Butter
1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 cup3 tablespoons peach preserves
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 400°F.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt in large bowl; cut in 1/3 cup butter with pastry blender or for until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk and rosemary with fork just until moistened. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead 15 seconds or until smooth. Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into 8 (2 1/2-inch) biscuits.

Place biscuits, 1 inch apart, onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, stir together 1/2 cup butter and peach preserves in small bowl. Serve warm biscuits with peach butter.

Substituting unsalted butter in the peach butter enhances the sweet peach flavor.
