Garlic & Herb Rice

Ingredients

2 cups basmati rice2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter

2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic2 1
2 cups water1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

STEP 1
Rinse rice; set aside.

STEP 2
Melt butter over medium-high heat in 5-quart saucepan until sizzling. Add garlic; sauté 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add rice; cook, stirring constantly, 5-6 minutes or until lightly toasted. Add water, chives and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, over high heat until mixture comes to a boil.

STEP 3
Cover; reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 15-18 minutes or until water is absorbed. Remove pan from heat; let stand, covered, 10 minutes. Fluff rice with fork; serve.
