Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce
This quick and easy hot fudge sauce can be customized to add your favorite flavors for a unique twist.

Ingredients
2 cup1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
How to make

STEP 1
Combine all sauce ingredients in 2-quart nonstick saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until butter and chips are melted and sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.

Stir in flavor variation from below, if desired.

Pour into jars or other airtight containers for gift giving. Store refrigerated. Reheat as needed.
Malted Fudge Sauce
Stir in 3 tablespoons malt powder.
Orange Fudge Sauce
Stir in 2 tablespoons orange liqueur or 1 teaspoon orange extract.
Pumpkin (or Apple) Spice Fudge Sauce
Stir in 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice.
Raspberry Jalapeño
Stir in 3 tablespoons seedless raspberry jam and 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh jalapeño dhile pepper.
Tip #1
To create different flavors, divide basic fudge sauce into two bowls. Stir in half of desired flavor variation ingredients into each bowl.
Tip #2
Pour this rich fudge sauce over ice cream, use as a filling in cake or as a fondue by spearing your favorite dippers, such as strawberries, bananas or angel food cake pieces and dipping them into warm hot fudge sauce.
Tip #3
Stir 1 tablespoon of any of our fudge sauce variations into your coffee.
Tip #4
Create the ultimate hot chocolate, by stirring in 1/4 cup fudge sauce into a cup of warm milk.
