Ingredients

Cookie

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Frosting

2 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 to 3 tablespoons milk

Decorations

Cream wafer cookies

12 large marshmallows, cut in half

Red food color

Candy-coated milk chocolate pieces

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine sugar, 1 cup melted butter, eggs and vanilla in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Add flour, baking soda and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed.

  3. STEP 3

    Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Flatten dough with bottom of glass. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.

  4. STEP 4

    Combine powdered sugar, 1/4 cup butter and vanilla in bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often and gradually adding enough milk, for desired spreading consistency. Frost cooled cookies.

  5. STEP 5

    Cut wafer cookies into triangles. Place 2 triangles in top of frosted cookie for ears. Place 1 marshmallow half in center of bottom half of cookie for snout. Dip point of toothpick in red food color to mark nostrils. Place candy pieces onto frosting for eyes.
