Melt-in-Your-Mouth Herbed Shortbread

Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 cup2 ounces (1
2 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese1
2 teaspoon dried basil leaves1
4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves1
4 teaspoon ground mustard1
8 teaspoon garlic powder1
8 teaspoon coarse ground pepperHow to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F.

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Beat at medium speed just until soft dough forms.

Press dough evenly onto bottom of ungreased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake 32-37 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes in pan on cooling rack. While still warm, carefully cut into squares. Cool completely.

For appetizer servings, cut each square in half diagonally.
