Molasses Cranberry Crinkles

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
3
4 teaspoon ground cinnamon1
2 teaspoon salt1
2 teaspoon ground cloves3
4 cup sugar1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 cup1
4 cup full flavor molasses1 large Land O Lakes® Egg, slightly beaten
1
2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest1
2 cup chopped sweetened dried cranberriesTurbinado (raw) sugar
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F.

STEP 2
Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves in bowl; set aside.

Combine sugar and butter in another bowl; beat at medium speed until well mixed. Add molasses, egg and orange zest; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour mixture gradually to butter mixture, beating at low speed after each addition. Stir in cranberries.

STEP 4
Place turbinado sugar into small bowl. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls; dip tops into sugar. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-13 minutes or until set.

Turbinado sugar is a coarse raw sugar that is blond in color with s delicate molasses flavor. It adds a special sparkle to baked goods when sprinkled on before baking.
