Ingredients

4 hot dog buns

8 dill pickle planks

8 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Sharp Cheddar American Blend

4 premium hot dogs

1 cup prepared potato salad

1 small (1/4 cup) tomato, seeded, chopped

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.

  2. STEP 2

    Gently open hot dog buns; lay 2 pickle planks in each bun.

  3. STEP 3

    Place 2 slices cheese into each bun, set aside.

  4. STEP 4

    Place hot dogs onto grill. Grill, turning occasionally, 5-9 minutes or until heated through. Place hot dogs into prepared buns.

  5. STEP 5

    Top each hot dog with 1/4 cup potato salad and 1 tablespoon chopped tomato.
