Ingredients

3 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, separated

4 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups1 Land O Lakes® Honey Butter Spread, melted
2 cup2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1
2 teaspoon salt2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon zest
Toppings
Land O Lakes® Honey Butter Spread
Maple syrup
Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream, sweetened, whipped, if desired
Fresh or frozen fruit (blueberries,strawberries, raspberries, etc.), thawed
How to make

STEP 1
Heat waffle iron to medium-high heat.

STEP 2
Beat egg yolks using whisk in bowl until light yellow color. Stir in all remaining waffle ingredients except egg whites just until moistened.

STEP 3
Beat egg whites in bowl at high speed, scraping bowl often, until stiff peaks form. Gently stir beaten egg whites into waffle mixture. Bake according to manufactuer's directions until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve waffles with Honey Butter Spread, maple syrup, whipped cream, if desired, or fresh fruit.
