Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar

2/3 cup evaporated milk

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 cups miniature marshmallows

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, if desired

1 teaspoon vanilla

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Line 8-inch square baking pan with foil. Set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt in medium heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling, 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

  3. STEP 3

    Stir in marshmallows, chips, nuts and vanilla. Beat by hand until marshmallows are melted. Pour into prepared pan. Cover; refrigerate until firm (2 hours). Remove foil; cut into pieces.

Variations:
Milk Chocolate Fudge: Prepare mixture as directed above. Substitute 1 (11.5-ounce) package (1 3/4 cups) milk chocolate chips.
Butterscotch Fudge: Prepare mixture as directed above. Substitute 1 (11-ounce) package (1 2/3 cups) butterscotch flavored baking chips.
Mint Chocolate Fudge: Prepare mixture as directed above. Substitute 1 (10-ounce) package (1 1/2 cups) mint chocolate chips.
