Triple Almond Torte

3 cups all-purpose flour1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

4 cup sugarFilling

2 cups finely chopped slivered almonds3
4 cup sugar1 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
4 cup3 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, slightly beaten
1 1
2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon zest1
8 teaspoon ground nutmegGarnish
Toasted sliced almonds, if desired
Powdered sugar, if desired
Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream, whipped, sweetened, if desired
*Substitute 2 tablespoons water and 1 teaspoon almond flavoring.
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 375°F.

Combine all pastry ingredients in bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up sides of ungreased 9-inch springform pan.

Combine all filling ingredients in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Pour filling into crust. Bake 30-40 minutes or until center is set and deep golden brown. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan.

Garnish with sliced almonds and powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.
